G3 CMP
G3 launches its Converged Management Platform (CMP)
G3 CMP Highlights
|
G3 has launched CMP, an intelligent platform that converges monitoring and management of the different layers of your network and systems infrastructure to provide a single business service view of an entire application or its delivery system - regardless of how many parts it is composed of.
G3 CMP Benefits
|
How it works
G3's CMP system uses Vendor Knowledge Modules (VKM) which provide the CMP software with a topological understanding of vendor equipment capabilities, far greater than just listening and reporting on alarming data. For example, with Avaya PBX switches, CMP can provide a live understanding of ESS and LSP states in both nominal and network fracture situations.
The VKMs interpret alarms and perform interaction with PBXs, switches, routers, servers and applications to show our engineers and customers service level indicators for system availability and functionality.
These indicators are presented as a snapshot of your business critical functions; providing real business meaning to exactly what services are affected, which users are involved and the degree of service distress. It also maintains the intelligence to distinguish if an alarm represents an isolated problem or carries a broader effect; enabling engineers to recognize and resolve critical functions or problems affecting business units in order of importance. Avaya, Cisco, Extreme, Juniper, Linux, Solaris and Windows are among many of the VKMs available.
CMP for Monitoring your Systems
The G3 CMP service starts with a network management architecture and tool deployment. Leveraging manufacturer and application specific Knowledge Modules, key elements of the network are monitored and interrogated to provide visibility of not only what is occurring within that singular component, but also how the overall service of that application is performing.
CMP for Mapping Technology Assets to Business Process
Business priority is the underlying theme across all facets of the G3 CMP service. It starts with an extensive on-boarding process where qualified IT professionals map technology assets of the network to your organization's business processes, user communities or areas of the campus or geography they support. Whether referring to call registration and digital signal processing capabilities for a call centre, the thin client server farm or the Ethernet switches and routers that support them; these assets are supporting a business. When errors occur, know the immediate impact it has upon the business and what the source of the problem is.
CMP Support Services
G3's CMP service provides several service options that extend an organization's engineering resources; whether your company requires expertise to handle a new voice infrastructure or you simply need more help due to an acquisition our Problem Resolution and Remote Programming services help alleviate management burdens at a fraction of the cost of expanding internal resources.
CMP for Release Management
Overcome release and firmware management challenges with CMP. Manufacturer's maintenance and software support entitle you to break-fix support and new firmware and software updates, yet the responsibility of applying these updates is on the customer. Alleviate costly projects and release management burdens with our CMP. Our vendor accredited staff remotely perform the upgrades on your equipment during maintenance windows tailored to your business.
CMP delivered as a Service
G3's CMP platform is delivered as a service. This eliminates the capital expenditures required to purchase traditional network management frameworks and the professional services necessary to launch a monitoring infrastructure. All of the hardware, software, licensing, implementation and ongoing management are provided with G3's CMP - ensuring that you will always produce a return on this investment.
