Everyday Users: Although these are not everyday users as we would call them, these are people who only make and receive a couple of calls each day (which isn't many people!).
Essential Users: These are people who are on the phone constantly, and want to keep contactable throught the day, wherever they are.
Navigators: Navigators are those who answer phones and manage calls for themselves and for groups of people as a big part of their jobs - receptionists and group PAs
The Avaya 9610 IP Telephone is designed for the walkup user, for use in common areas such as building lobbies, break rooms and hallways.
The Avaya 9620 IP Telephone is designed for the everyday user, the individual that fields few calls a day and needs straightforward telephony.
The Avaya 9630 IP Telephone is essential user profile, the individual who is on the phone a lot of the time and considers the telephone a vital tool. This is what we use at G3!
Again this is designed for the essential user, the 9640 has the identical button layout and form factor as the 9630 but with a colour screen.
The Avaya 9650 IP Telephone is designed for the navigator.
SBM 24 Button Expansion Module
The 24-button expansion module extends the one-button numbers or features immediately and it's all on the screen - no more paper labesl! The SBM 24 is powered from the 9630, 9640 or 9650 telephone via the module interface.
