Distributed Office

Specifically designed for companies with multisites this new product from Avaya is for those who want the Avaya reliability and integration but who don't require all the advanced features of Avaya Communication Manager. Although it's called distributed office, it's basically a lighter version of Avaya Communication Manager.

Provideing branch offices with rich communication, collaboration and mobility capabilities, Distributed Office is centrally managed, SIP-based and easily scales up to thousands of distributed sites.

Presence management and instant messaging, can be delivered to every branch office which improves customer service. In addition, mobility features support 'mobile employees' so they remain in contact where ever they are.

SIP architecture makes scaling to thousands of sites easy, and G3 can deliver pre-configured Distributed Office platforms directly to the branch site to reduce installation times. These configuration features include station/user configurations, dial plan/feature access codes, announcements, automated attendant, coverage paths/hunt groups, voice mail and system mailboxes/parameters, instant messaging, private SIP networking, firmware/software upgrades, SNMP traps and system parameters. In addition, enterprises can leverage intuitive centralized management tools to decrease set up time; manage updates and upgrades; and provision user moves, additions, and changes.
