G3 and Avaya

Why G3 choose to work with Avaya

G3 is a Platinum Partner for Avaya Enterprise. Avaya separate its partners into 2 categories, the SMB partners who focus on products targeted at less than 100 employees and Enterprise partners who focus on delivering Avaya Communication Manager solutions for companies with between 100 and 5,000 employees.

The management team at G3 is responsible for more Enterprise Avaya projects than any other business in the UK. Since 1995, when the then AT&T Definity was launched to the indirect channel, the team has been responsible for over 900 installations of the now named Avaya Communication Manager.

There are a number of reasons why G3 choose to work with Avaya...

Avaya is a global leader in communication systems, applications and services. G3 designs, builds, deploys and manages Avaya communications networks for medium to large enterprises. Customers rely on Avaya for reliable, secure networks that facilitate customer relationships, enhance productivity and maximize profitability.

Avaya's existence as a standalone company began Oct. 2, 2000, when they were spun off from Lucent Technologies and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol AV. For more than a century prior to that day Avaya were a part of Western Electric, AT&T, and Lucent.

In Avaya's early days they earned a reputation for creating high-performing, solidly reliable - some would say "bullet-proof" -- enterprise communication solutions incorporating such products as desk phones, office-building switches and switchboards, call-centre systems, voice-mail software, cabling, and many others. Esteemed Bell Laboratories scientists won 1,600 pre-spin off patents developing technology now under the Avaya banner.

Avaya's reputations for product quality and technological innovation are just as strong today, even though they have shifted focus to such areas as Internet Protocol telephony, wireless data communication, customer-relationship-management software and speech recognition technology.

Avaya's customers include: Microsoft; Barclays Global Investors; Merrill Lynch; The Donna Karan Company; Beijing University; British Airways London Eye; Banco Credito de Inversiones Chile; Colorado Springs Credit Union; George Washington University; J.H. Cohn; UpSource; Jenny Craig; FIFA; Brasil Telecom; The Australian National University; Tower Travel; Convergys; Stevens Industries; Grupo Santander; Kyobo Life Insurance; City of Indianapolis/Marion County; Luxury Cruise Center; BUPA International; Chunghwa Telecom; and BBVA Bancomer.
