Mobile EC500

This application enables you to use the Avaya EC500 (an application that runs on Avaya Communication Manager) functionality on your iPhone with out the need of a separate mobility server. Whenever you’re away from your desk, your iPhone becomes your desk phone.

Select whether you want to call from youroffice number, which routes the phone call via the company phone system, or your mobile number. Call your colleagues by dialling their extension number, never miss a call to your desk, avoid voicemail tennis! With EC500 your Avaya desk phone is bridged with your iPhone, you can hand off calls between mobile and desk phone. EC500 can be activated or deactivated from your iPhone.

Setting Up Mobile EC500
You will need to be operating Avaya Communication Manager (ACM) with EC500 to enable this application. Aura Alliance EC500© requires you to enable EC500 on your ACM, configure settings on your phone system and configure the Mobile EC500 application to suit your EC500 settings.

  1. Configure the software on your ACM. See how to configure your ACM for Mobile EC500 Here >
  2. Set up EC500 to Individual User (you may need to get your Avaya Maintenance Provider to do this).
  3. Configure the Aura Alliance EC500©.
  4. Once downloaded open the application and tap Menu
  5. Scroll down to Settings and tap to open this page
  6. Scroll to settings File and manually enter all the codes and numbers, use the codes that will be already pre-programmed on your phone system under the EC500 setting. Download sample settings for configuration of your Mobile EC500 Here >

Mobile DR-X

The DR-X works alongside Avaya Call Centre and allows you to activate different vectors remotely, via your iPhone. When you are running Avaya Call Centre you will have pre-configured call vectors that route incoming Call Centre calls for maximum benefit and efficiency. With combinations of different vector commands, incoming callers can be treated differently depending on the time or day of the call, the expected wait time (EWT), the importance of the call, or other criteria.

The DR-X application enables you to activate specific vectors remotely, from your iPhone, for example if staff cannot access the office building you will want to turn on your emergency vector command, whether you have this set up as an announcement or forward to a mobile number or outsourced call centre.
