Our Environmental Policy

G3 uses Avaya and Extreme Networks ICT solution to reduce energy consumption, with Power over Ethernet drawn to power our 9600 series IP handsets from Avaya, the intelligent solution knows to only supply a reduced power of 7Watts. G3 also operates the power down of the IP handsets over weekends and out of office ours to reduce power consumption.

G3 re-cycles waste paper, cardboard, toner cartridges and all other material that can be re-cycled.

Following the recent ruling (1st July 2006) for restricting the use of certain hazardous substances (RoSH) in electrical and electronic equipment, all equipment pre-dating this must be disposed of through specialists.

G3 has developed systems which significantly reduce paper usage, call reports are available online to avoid the use of excessive paper.

G3 encourages staff to consider the environment in all aspects of their work.
